Engine starts, car drives.
Modifications are partly registered, partly not.
Turbocharger, exhaust manifold and wheels are not registered.
ABS removed, no airbags.
Air conditioning compressor removed, no air conditioning.
No wheel arch liners.
Beginning rust in a few places on the body.
One wing needs to be refitted.
Oil pan occasionally slightly leaking, engine and subframe slightly damp with oil.
Power steering pump leaking.
Wiring in the engine bay partly makeshift.
Radiator cap does not hold pressure reliably.
Oil catch can mounted at the top near the exhaust system.

DESCRIPTION

Description and condition

Delivered new in Germany in 1994, later painted Acid Green and extensively modified. A project car that starts and drives but still needs work.

Engine rebuild in 02/2023 according to the previous owner:

Engine block bored, honed and decked.

K1 forged connecting rods and Wiseco forged pistons 83.5 mm.

New bearing shells and gaskets.

Interior fully removed and cleaned.

Carpet washed and seat covers re-stretched.

Seats refitted with the correct bolts.

Interior treated with corrosion protection.

Open air filter replaced with the standard air filter.

Who sells, and what that means for you

The seller is the owner of the vehicle, not us. The contract of sale is concluded solely between you and the owner; we broker the sale and take no share of the purchase price.

If the owner is a private individual, liability for defects is excluded in the contract of sale. The two-year statutory guarantee that applies when buying from a dealer does not apply here. Liability for fraudulently concealed defects and for expressly warranted characteristics remains (§ 444 German Civil Code).

If the owner is a business, the statutory guarantee applies. For used vehicles it is regularly shortened to one year from handover by express, separate agreement (§ 476 (2) German Civil Code). You learn who sells and on what terms before the contract is concluded.
