Below we have preserved a customer's account published on 13.04.2015: clearance in Zelenograd and the journey via Finland. It is the story of one specific trip, not a current step-by-step procedure. Whether such a deal is possible today requires a check of export restrictions, and the land border crossings between Finland and Russia are closed until further notice according to a verified government announcement.

Step 1

On the trip described on 13.04.2015, the customer prepared the application, the payments and the customs documents and planned to return via Torfyanovka. This route cannot be repeated on the basis of the old article: the land border crossings between Finland and Russia are closed until further notice. The 539 euros for the ferry and the booking details relate to the trip from the 2015 account; the fare and the availability of the route today are not confirmed. From the article of 13.04.2015: “You arrive at the dealership. We complete the paperwork and pay the fee. We drive to Travemünde. We booked the ferry tickets online at http://www.paromi.de/ Travemünde-Helsinki 539 € cabin without a window + transport of 2 cars up to 6 m and 2.1 in height”

In the 2015 account, the customer handed the documents to Finnish customs for inspection and confirmation of export. This episode does not establish the current procedure for crossing the border or for a VAT refund.

A follow-up was announced in the 2015 publication. Whether a separate article is available to customers today is not confirmed.
